Princeton Junction Station – Princeton Campus
Monday – Friday: Tiger Transit runs for free from campus to Princeton Junction train station Monday through Friday. You can take Route 4 from Nassau Street, Firestone on Nassau St or McCosh Walk on Washington Rd stops to Princeton Junction. Tiger transit maps and schedules are available here.
Weekends: Tiger Transit does not run on Saturday or Sunday, please take NJ Transit (Princeton Station – Princeton Junction Schedule) or a taxi/Uber/Lyft from Princeton Junction train station to your hotel.
NYC Penn Station – Princeton Junction Station/Princeton Campus
- Please take the ‘Northeast Corridor’ line of the NJTransit rail system from Penn Station to Princeton Junction Station.
- Total travel time to Princeton Junction is 70-90 minutes, depending on peak hours. Please view the schedule for the most current information.
- Note that travel via NJ Transit to and from Penn Station does not need to be booked in advance; you can simply purchase tickets from a kiosk.
- Also, please note that not all Northeast Corridor trains stop at Princeton Junction; check the schedule to be sure.
- From Princeton Junction Station, you can either grab a cab or take The Dinky.
Trenton Transit Center – Princeton Junction Station
Trenton Transit Center is connected to Princeton via the ‘Northeast Corridor’ line of the NJTransit rail system.
Travel time to Princeton Junction is about 15-20 minutes, depending on peak travel hours.

Newark Airport via NJ Transit
NJ Transit runs between Newark Airport Railroad Station and Princeton Junction Station (10 minutes from campus) or Princeton Station (on campus). You can find a complete train schedule at https://www.njtransit.com/.
John F. Kenndey Airport via NJ Transit
Take JFK’s AirTrain to Jamaica Station and transfer to the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) line. Take the LIRR to Moynihan Train Hall (Pennsylvania Station) in Manhattan. At Moynihan Train Hall take NJ Transit or Amtrak to Princeton Junction Station (10 minutes from campus) or Princeton Station (on campus).
Please view the JFK AirTrain schedule for the most current information. Total travel time to Penn Station is approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on peak hours. It takes a little over an hour via NJ Transit from Moynihan Train Hall (NY Penn Station) to Princeton.
